Setting the Table with Chinoiserie: A Fine Dining Fusion

At Fromental, we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of creative expression through innovative design and exceptional artistry. This vision inspired our collaboration with Raynaud, the renowned French Limoges porcelain maker, to create Paradis.

Through the Paradis collection, Raynaud and Fromental unite the intricate beauty of chinoiserie wallpaper with the enduring elegance of fine porcelain. Delicate birds of paradise and vibrant butterflies, inspired by our signature designs, adorn exquisite dining plates and tableware - elevating everyday moments into artistic experiences.

The Art of Scale in Fromental’s Craft

Fromental’s expertise extends beyond our grand hand-painted panels. We embrace the art of transformation from the monumental to the intimate.

This project reimagines scale, seamlessly translating grand artworks onto dainty pieces. To bring this vision to life, Fromental co-founder Lizzie Deshayes composed full-scale drawings, ensuring that every detail would retain its depth and artistic integrity. These initial drafts were sketched using a matte background to enhance the vivid colours of the imagery, all while creating a striking contrast that shines on the porcelain finish.

The inspiration for the design stems from Fromental’s Paradiso Wallcovering, a vibrant depiction of bamboo and foliage intertwined with playful birds and butterflies. With its extensive range of nine distinct colourways, Paradiso provides the perfect foundation for this unique collection.
