Ambia in Malecón
Building upon the original Vedado colourway, Natalia and Fromental worked to develop three additional variations, each recalling the grandeur of Old Havana. The line evolved with metallic flourishes and a variety of tones, spanning earthy reds, translucent whites, and pearlescent pinks, a palette reminiscent of semi-precious stones.
Working closely with Fromental, Miyar played with a variety of techniques that include hand-painted marbling, paint speckles, and buckskin textures. These are interspersed with a specialist cracked eggshell inlay that creates the effect of colour-blocking from afar, with beautiful textural detailing up-close. The design is printed onto a waxed paper and hand-finished with metallic foil.
